Which? Trusted Trader
Independently checked by Which?, so you can choose your heating, cooling or plumbing engineer with complete confidence.
A.C. Wilgar Heating & Cooling is proud to be a Which? Trusted Trader. Endorsement can’t be bought: every Which? Trusted Trader must pass a rigorous assessment of its professionalism, customer service and business practices before it can display the logo.
What is a Which? Trusted Trader?
Which? Trusted Traders is an endorsement scheme created by Which?, one of the UK’s most respected consumer organisations. The scheme was established to help homeowners identify reputable local tradespeople across industries including plumbing, heating, electrical, building and home improvement.
Unlike many online directories, businesses cannot simply pay to become endorsed. Every company must undergo independent checks to demonstrate they meet the high standards expected by Which?.
What does this mean for our customers?
Choosing A.C. Wilgar Heating & Cooling means choosing a company that has been independently assessed by a trusted consumer organisation. To become a Which? Trusted Trader, businesses are checked in six key areas:
Financial health and credit checks
Which? checks the financial standing and credit history of every business, so you know you’re dealing with a stable, established company.
Business procedures and administration
Our quoting, invoicing, record-keeping and complaints procedures are reviewed to make sure every job is handled clearly and properly.
Customer references
Which? speaks to our existing customers to confirm the quality of our work and the service they received.
Insurance and supporting documentation
We provide evidence of the right insurance and the qualifications and accreditations needed for the work we carry out.
Trading Standards-led business assessment
An assessment led by a Trading Standards professional checks that we trade fairly and legally, and treat customers properly.
Commitment to the Which? Trusted Traders Code of Conduct
We’ve signed up to the Which? Trusted Traders Code of Conduct, committing to honest, fair and transparent dealings on every job.
Ongoing standards you can rely on
Endorsement doesn’t stop after approval.
Which? Trusted Traders continue to undergo ongoing checks to help ensure they continue meeting the standards expected of the scheme. Endorsed businesses must also follow the Which? Code of Conduct, and businesses that fail to meet these standards can be suspended or removed from the scheme.
That means you can have confidence that A.C. Wilgar Heating & Cooling remains committed to delivering excellent customer service long after becoming endorsed.
Independent customer reviews
Every Which? Trusted Trader has a dedicated profile where customers can leave reviews about their experience. Unlike many review platforms, all reviews published on Which? Trusted Traders are moderated before appearing online, helping to ensure feedback is genuine and trustworthy.
