A.C.Wilgar WINS "Smart installer" of the year at H&V News Awards 2018

A.C.Wilgar were again crowned “Smart Installer of the Year” at the 2018 H&V News Awards after seeing off competition from several major national firms for the award.

This award category was established to recognise the domestic installer and contractor that is utilising smart technology in any of its various forms, with the judges prasing A.C. Wilgar for organising and supporting their engineers through effective use of smart phone technology in the field to provide a more streamlined customer journey.

At a ceremony hosted at the Grosvenor house hotel in London by comedian Russell Kane, A.C.Wilgar won "Smart installer" of the year 2017, beating national companies such as Homeserve (British Gas service arm), and many others throughout the UK.

To celebrate and promote this award we have just purchased two very eco friendly Smart cars, these compliment our energy efficient heating design ethos, as well as obviously reflect our "Smart installer" award, this accolade adds to our collection of national awards, details of which can be seen on the awards page.

"National Trading Standards Approval" awarded

We are delighted to announce that A.C.Wilgar are the first plumbing and heating business to have been awarded the prestigious "National Trading Standards Approval".

As members of the “Trustmark” scheme, we have to prove out trustworthiness and demonstrate an exceptional level of both competence and integrity, through this government run scheme. This includes our thorough processes for customer complaints procedures, our Health & Safety policy, and very importantly, our employees CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) checks, to prove that all our staff members have been checked and have no criminal records.

H&V News awards 2017

A.C.Wilgar have been shortlisted for the prestigious H&V News awards “Service and Maintenance initiative of the year”.

To be shortlisted for this award is a huge accolade, and shows that our service and after sales care are worthy of being shortlisted amongst the very biggest companies in the industry, British Gas and Swale Heating, to name but two. The judges felt that our automated text service showing our customers where our engineers are when they are travelling to their homes, as well as the text with a picture of the engineer, and his qualifications, showed an exceptional level of transparency and professionalism. The winner of this aware will be announced at a ceremony at the Grosvenor house hotel in Park lane in April this year.
