|Powerflushing is now established by all manufacturers as the most effective way of ensuring a trouble free installation, in effect a powerflush machine will act like a
washing machine for central heating systems.
By connecting the machine with its built in pump, in place of your existing central heating pump, you can then pump a cleaning solution throughout the system, and by
isolating each radiator individually you can ensure that the entire system including all pipe work will be cleaned internally. Therefore there is no possibility of the sludge,
iron oxide, magnetite etc damaging your new boiler and or controls.
Powerflushing is not disruptive, there is no need to remove all the radiators during a powerflush, in most cases the machine sites outside the property (please see video clip)
Fernox, the leading water treatment company in Europe, have trained all our engineers in the approved method of powerflushing, and have run a national campaign in the trade and
public press, using A.C.Wilgar to demonstrate the correct method of powerflushing.
All boilers fitted by A.C.Wilgar carry a minimum two year guarantee provided that the system is powerflushed correctly, and the benchmark certificate completed by one of our
registered installers. Indeed it is established company policy that we will not install a boiler in an existing system without both powerflushing and filling out a benchmark
certificate. (After all, would you change the gear box in your car and use the old oil afterwards?)
A powerflush will cost approximatly £450 up to and including 8 radiators, for a confirmed quotation or to arrange a thermal imaging survey please
